Another slightly different version of a no carb wrap is the "California Wrap".
I tried my hand at making the "Turkey Roll-Ups" from the South Beach Diet and surprisingly really liked them. They were simple to make and only have 2 grams of carbs in them. All you have to do is place a slice of turkey (I used 2 because it was thinly sliced) on a lettuce leaf that you spread a little bit of mayonnaise on. Add 1 scallion and 1 pepper strip. Fold into a tight, cigar like roll and enjoy. You can have 2 of them for a serving. Another slightly different version of a no carb wrap is the "California Wrap". The difference in this wrap is the addition of a thin slice of ham with one slice of turkey, a half slice of Swiss cheese, sliced tomatoes and avocado. This is a great snack to make in advance, wrap it tightly in plastic wrap, and it will keep fresh for the next day. One of these wraps is sufficient for a snack.
