2 cups regular rolled oats
½ cup coarsely chopped nuts of your choice (almonds, peanuts, or pecans)
½ cup sunflower seeds
½ cup honey
⅓ cup cooking oil
Combine 2 cups of oats, ½ cup of nuts, and ½ cup of sunflower seeds. Combine ½ cup of honey and ⅓ cup of oil; stir into oat mixture. Spread evenly in a greased baking sheet. Bake in a 300 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from the oven; immediately turn out onto a large piece of foil. Cool; break into clumps. Top your favorite fruit and yogurt with this easy, sweet, crunchy granola.
Cover tightly and store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. For longer storage, seal in freezer bags and freeze. Makes 6 cups (twelve ½ cup servings).
