In celebration of the fact that we have lived in ONE place for a whole year, coupled with the fact that we will be living in this SAME place for another year (I am so glad we are not moving again this year), I put the "welcome" flag out front. I "welcome" the wonderful thoughts of allowing myself to start feeling a little tiny bit at home here in Georgia. I "welcome" the idea of starting to become more familiar with our surroundings as well as getting to know some of the people that live in our community. Here is my "Welcome" flag.
However nice my thoughts and sentiments might be, my friendly, people-loving husband had his own thoughts about my "welcoming" flag. The flag he wanted to display out in front of the house went something like this...
I think I'll save this flag to have on display at his tombstone someday. :) Ha ha ha!!!
