Weekend Update: New Ladder, Bathroom Renovation, Computer Monitor Shopping, Easter Decorations at Walmart
Hello everybody! I hope you are enjoying the weekend. It has been a busy weekend for us. It started out with a trip to Home Depot, (one of my favorite places to go because it reminds me of home projects with my dad), to purchase a new step ladder.
I'm going with the Gorilla step ladder. It looks sturdy yet lightweight and the maximum reach is nine feet, which is plenty.
Now we can finish painting the master bathroom. It's not totally finished yet but I'll give you a sneak peek of how it's coming along so far. I purchased all new bath towels, the Better Homes and Gardens brand from Walmart.
The paint color we chose for both the master bedroom and bathroom was pewter gray. We still need to purchase some pictures for the walls but it's coming along nicely.
Aaron was off work on Saturday so Syd and I took him out shopping at Best Buy to spend some time with him, and to help him look for a new computer monitor. He's in the process of upgrading his monitor and keyboard.
The Samsung 27" curved monitor was the ticket. The picture quality was by far the best one out of the bunch.
Syd and I went grocery shopping at Walmart on Sunday.
Walmart has all of their Easter decorations out and ready to go.
Maybe looking at some of these Easter decorations will help put a "spring" in our step.
Ok this is definitely getting me into the baking mood.
Hey, there's my peeps!
I'm pretty sure Aaron would love the Super Mario egg decorating kit and Linn would love the Disney's Frozen kit. As for me, I think I would go with the Peanuts kit. I love me some Snoopy.
A certain niece is getting a special letter of "cheer" for volleyball, sent to her from her very special aunt. :-D SPEEDY delivery!
It has been such a beautiful weekend here in Georgia. We went out for a walk to enjoy the weather.
Happy weekend y'all!
