Welcome to the Weekend - Valetine's Day Decorating -Tortilla Crisps - Peanut Butter Balls

Sunshine + beautiful weather = happy people! :)
The weather this weekend has been absolutely soul soothing!
I can't get over how nice it has been here in Georgia, reaching near 60's with brilliant sunshine for days, in the MIDDLE OF JANUARY.

I ventured outdoors with broom in hand, to sweep the front entrance, sidewalk, and the back patio.

The bush in front of our home is blooming, in JANUARY!

Today there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

We took a walk down by the lake...

and found gold!  Just kidding. :)

But I did find smiling kids...

~ and tranquility at the lake.~

This weekend I dug out the Valentine decorations that I made last year, and put them around the mantel. It looks festive in here. :)

I made some fun snacks for the kids.

Linn sent Syd some special cereal this weekend. Of course she loved it, and plans on keeping the box.

I walked a few miles with Leslie. :)

We were able to Skype with Linn and Alex, I worked on various chores around the house, had a movie night with the kids, spent time editing pics and working on this blog. 

Another great weekend is coming to a close.
Time to get to that homework!
