Today was the last day of school for Aaron! YES! He had a full course load this year and he did great. He worked hard, harder than he ever has before and it paid off for him. It is amazing how much he learned! He loved it, but don't take my word for it... ask HIM, he'll tell you how blessed he feels to have been given the opportunity to learn so much.
I had quite a large stack of teacher books for his classes too and although it was a bit intimidating at first, it didn't take me long to realize that his teachers were way more capable of teaching all the material, more than I could ever dream of being. They did an outstanding, top notch job from the first day, all the way to the end!
Sydie's last day of school was yesterday! :) This girl worked her butt off this year. She had more homework than she was used to at first, but proved herself diligent with it, and she maintained straight A's after that first marking period, all the way to the end. She had to read a lot of books, but by the end of it all, she was able to read Pilgrim's Progress. She made major improvements in every area this year. I can't believe she can reduce fractions, convert measurements, figure out percentages of fractions, and the list goes on and on.
My stack of books for Syd's classes was minimal. Mrs. Achuff did an outstanding job teaching all of the subjects. Every single day she was on top of her game.
Welcome back summer break! We have missed you! :)
