Today was Aaron's first day of school and I am thrilled to report that it went really well for him. He was awake, dressed and ready to get started in the "school zone" by 8:30 A.M.
He was pretty excited to use his new speakers, headphones and mouse.
A sweet, surprise treat was waiting for him on his desk...mini chocolate chip cookies and brownie bites.
Bible class started at 8:30, followed by a five minute break. Math class was on schedule at 9:15, another quick break, followed by English class at 10:15. He was on his lunch break by 11:00.
I prepared a quick, easy lunch ~ peanut butter wrap, veggies, watermelon and cookie.
Science class started at 12:00, then a short five minute break. History was his final class of the day. He was finished with classes by 1:45. He was thrilled that he didn't have P.E. today. He is actually five weeks ahead in that class, and he couldn't be happier about that. Even after an hour's worth of homework this evening, he still had a great attitude about his first day of school!
