I was able to try a new recipe from Pinterest - French Breakfast Muffins - a recipe that was shared by Carolyn C., www.keyingredient.com. This recipe reminded me of French toast in muffin form.
School work has been going well this week. We have finally got into the groove of things and have managed to stay the course, following the schedule and getting so much accomplished. Aaron did a great job on his written poetry exam today. He had to write the poem "Opportunity" by Edward Rowland Sill from memory using proper spelling and punctuation. He was dreading the assignment because he wasn't sure he was going to remember all the punctuation that was involved in that poem. He surprised himself by only missing two commas and received an "A". His spelling was spot on!
Sydney will be finishing up her Science study and heading into History by next week. She is working on observing the weather patterns and couldn't wait to go outside in the pouring rain to report on the wet conditions. She is learning about evaporation so she collected rain water in a bowl and covered it with saran wrap to see if she can "catch" some water as it evaporates. All she needs now is a sunny day! ;o)
Here's to a busy, productive week!
