This week is going by way too fast but I'm soaking up every second of the time we have together with my parents. The weather, for the most part, has been nice enough to take plenty of walks together.
My mom and I scored a major victory in Christmas shopping for the kids earlier in the week. No terrible traffic to deal with, nor the dreadfully long lines at the checkout. YES!!!
We went to see the Peanuts Movie yesterday since it was calling for rain all day.
We are having a blast playing lots of card games. I love playing the game Hand and Foot. I love it even more if I'm on the winning team. LOL! My dad is hard to beat at most card games because he's too darn clever for his own good. He pays very close attention to what cards are being played. If he's on your team, chances are...you'll win. If he isn't on your team, chances are...you're in for a challenging game.
If all goes well, I'm hoping to end this wonderful week together with a mini Thanksgiving Day feast on Saturday, followed by attending First Baptist Church Atlanta Sunday morning to see one of our all time favorite pastors, Dr. Charles Stanley.
Here's to all the fun, memorable family times!
This blog is powered by the ramblings of a wife, mother, home executive, homeschooler and a photographer wannabe. I’m just here sharing those bloggable moments in the hopes of being an encouragement along the way. If you're looking for basic recipes, homeschooling tips from a veteran home educator, craft project ideas, or tips on home and school organization, then you've come to the right place.
