Another weekend went by quickly! It was hot and humid, reaching almost 90 degrees all weekend. We worked around the house cleaning, packing and organizing for our move. Sydney helped with the grocery shopping and chose roasted chicken for one of the meals.
I started packing away at least half of the kitchen, keeping out only those items necessary for the next week or so. I scrubbed out the cabinets and drawers, etc. We are making progress! The hard part is deciding what to pack and what not to pack, that is the question. We still need to use some of our stuff for another week so it can be quite the guessing game. As long as I mark the boxes well, I can go back and retrieve an item that has been packed away. I have already had to do this several times.
Muffin madness for Memorial Day breakfast!
Clint made his grandmother's recipe for meatballs and macaroni salad for supper. This was a super, yummy treat!
I made these fun, festive Jello/Cool Whip cups for dessert.
The weekend ended with preparations for Sydney's birthday celebration.
Here's to another hot and humid Tennessee weekend! Why not turn up the heat and move further South! :D
