Happy Sunday y'all! Bible study first. Then I'm off to Walmart to finish the grocery shopping for the week. Syd and I made record time. It only took us twenty-three minutes to gather the goods, pay for them and head for home. The store was empty this morning which made shopping a breeze. It was a stress free grocery shopping spree.
I was so happy about it. I couldn't quit smiling!
I even bought Syd a donut to celebrate our success.
Today is a meal prep kind of day.
I split the ground round into three parts to make burgers, meatloaf and taco meat for easy freeze ahead meals.
Since I had a lot of the ingredients out, I went ahead and made a salmon loaf to bake in the oven for dinner tomorrow and I hard boiled some eggs to add in salads.
Linn and Alex stopped by to pick the kids up to go Goodwill shopping.
They found some neat stuff like these VeggieTales cookie cutters.
While they were out shopping I was out walking. It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
While I was out walking they were out enjoying ice cream cones and milkshakes. I missed out BIG time!
While the kids were stuffing their faces full of delicious ice cream, I was finishing up the laundry.
Focaccia pizza anyone?
Syd finished building her Mr. Rogers puzzle.
Happy Sunday! It's time to relax.
