When my grandson Alex found out that our public library was hosting an up close and personal encounter with a crocodile, kangaroo, other reptiles and animals, he was thrilled. I was thrilled that he invited me to go along with him. YAY! I love field trips! I love our public library! I love spending time with my grandson! Alex loves learning about crocodiles, reptiles and kangaroos! It was a match made in heaven!
Tickled Pink Petting Zoo brought the zoo to us! We were tickled pink to learn more about these amazing creatures!
A cute encounter with Liam the lemur.
Thanks for the adventure!
This past weekend we went exploring! We took a drive to the State Botanical Garden of Georgia located in Athens. It was a gorgeous day and it was all about the beauty of the garden displays and natural areas.
Welcome to summer in the gardens.
The children’s garden features fun garden plots, edible plants, a tree-house, fossil wall, and a granite map of Georgia.
Part of the Herb & Physic Collections
The Heritage Garden traces the development of Georgia agriculture. They have beautiful collections of heirloom flowers, antique roses, fruit crops, row crops and native plants that have held cultural significance throughout the history of the state.
We enjoyed our time exploring the gardens.
