I can't believe it's Thanksgiving Day y'all! It's been an interesting year, to say the least, but there's still so much to be thankful for. So I'm armed with an attitude of gratitude, eager to celebrate God's many blessings with my family.
It's time to set a thankful mood and a decorative table.
Don't forget the decadent desserts! I am GRATEFUL for Clint and his culinary skills! You can bake anytime you want honey!
Thank you Georgians! Bless your pecan picking hearts! Georgia is the largest pecan producing state.
The granddaddy of all Thanksgiving desserts... the divinely, decadent pumpkin cheesecake. This ain't your grandma's pumpkin pie y'all! Heavenly shades of pumpkin calling...out of the oven your voice is calling...together at last at thanksgiving time.
Grateful for game time shenanigans with grandson.
Grateful for you. Happy Thanksgiving from our hearts and home to you and yours!
It's another fall food Friday around here. Clint made a super moist, everything to love about fall spices, spice cake with a rich, cream cheese frosting. Happy fall y'all!
What's not to love about fall? What's not love about spice cake?
With the inevitable crisp weather that accompanies the fall season, it's time to get cozy for the colder months. I freshened up the bedroom for the new season. They say that variety is the spice of life.
A few changes of the bedding can make a big difference in bringing warmth to the room.
The color sets the mood for the whole room, so I incorporated warm colors from the bedspread to bring a warm feeling to the whole bedroom. I chose an eclectic mix of patterns of paisley and stripe design. It gives the room a homey feel.
While I was swapping out the bedding, I changed some of the decor to fit the new palette.
A little bit of inspiration to begin a new season with a positive attitude.
