Happy Fall Y'all!
Fall is right around the corner with a gentle, cool breeze, those beautiful colorful leaves, and even though there isn't a single sign of it here in Georgia, I've decided to bring the warm colors of fall into our home.

Now keep in my mind that I am no Martha Stewart, but more of a simple, no-hassle, "hand-me-down" kind of gal. There will be nothing impressive about my decorations, other than the fact that they cost very little and yet add a touch of fall for the season.
Fall Festive Wreath
A delightful fall wreath to welcome you into our home made possible by my mother, Tina McConnell. This was her wreath and I have the pleasure of hanging it on my door this year. I bet she would have never guessed when she first bought this wreath that it would one day be hanging in Georgia.
Festive Fall Rug
Watch your step! Here's a little "fall" reminder as you walk in and out of the front door.
"Take time to catch the falling leaves".
Simple Fall Tablescape
The dining room fall tablescape. I can't even tell you how many different ways I have "artistically arranged these items" (that's all that a tablescape really is - artistically arranging items on a table).

Sometimes I use these various pieces on a fireplace mantel or on the kitchen table. They aren't connected so I can split them up any way I like.
Celebrate Fall Season with Festive Scarecrow
I have a lot to crow about with this scarecrow. I think he is adorable and apparently very huggable because every fall when I unpack him, Sydney is the first to scoop him up and hug away. He may be good at keeping the crows away, but little girls can't resist him.
Festive Fall Scarecrow
This sweet girl is making her first appearance with us this year. She belonged to my mother and was lovingly passed down to me. She gets to hang out with me in the kitchen and maybe even "scare" the calories away...DOUBTFUL!  ~I am already becoming quite fond of her.
Dollar Tree Sunflower Placemats for Fall
"I want to be like a sunflower; so that even on the darkest days I will stand tall and find the sunlight." This is our cheery kitchen table.
Picture
"Every leaf speaks bliss to me fluttering from the autumn tree".

Here's to the joy of adding a touch of fall indoors.

I’m just here sharing those bloggable moments in the hopes of being an encouragement along the way. If you're looking for basic recipes, homeschooling tips from a veteran home educator, craft project ideas, or tips on home and school organization, then you've come to the right place.
