I am excited to report that I completed my first crochet blanket this very evening! I did it for this smile...
Alex picked out what color yarn he wanted the blanket to be.
He has good taste in color!
I just used a basic double crochet stitch for the blanket.
It didn't take long to use up three big skeins of yarn.
Now I'm going to have to make Linn one too! ;o)
Syd and Alex were ready for round two of Trunk or Treat fun this year. This time it was held at a church event. Even though these events may look a little different this year... cars may be parked a little further apart... a little more hand sanitizer may need to be utilized... the kids may already be wearing masks or may need to put one on... whatever the case may be... these events are meant to spread some joy and shine some light into the darkness.
Linn took Syd and Alex to a fun Trunk or Treat family fun event at Chrysler Dodge Jeep. A fun way to spend a fall day.
The dealership had games for the kids to play, a scary car contest and a costume & trunk contest.
They were having a blast!
They brought home a bunch of candy!
The difficult task ahead... how to keep Dad out of the candy...
He's always lurking around. ;o)
