Sydney pulled out a small box of photos that I had stored on a bookshelf to see if she could find any pictures of herself when she was younger. I have most of them packed away but I forgot about the small stash of them that I left in black a photo box. We had fun looking through them today and I thought I would share some of them on here just for the fun of it. Now I am tempted to go dig into my bigger stash and unlock a goldmine of treasured memories. :)
I recently hopped aboard the "Bible bus" and started Thru the Bible study program taught by Dr. John Vernon McGee. This program takes you on a 5-year journey through the entire Word of God. They send me the notes and outlines that supplement the study as each book of the Bible is studied. It reminds me of the classes I took at the Altoona Bible Institute. I love it. I have almost completed the study of Amos and will head into the study of 2 Peter next week. What an eye opening, life changing study!
It was in the 80's today (Georgia's humid subtropical climate that it is), very much like a summer day. The kids were wearing their shades and Syd needed her long hair pulled back in a ponytail for our walk at the Yellow Trail. It is going to be a hot one today.
We found these interesting looking tulip-shaped blossoms on our walk. They fell off a "tulip tree" (Liriodendron tulipifera).
The trail is really filling in with greenery.
Syd is getting so tall and skinny!
What a beautiful day!
Georgia is known for its red clay soil.
There is a country band from Atlanta called Georgia Red Clay. :)
Hey, check it out... DelClintsco's potato salad! He actually made potato salad that tasted a lot like Delgrosso's. :) I was impressed!
Let's start this bunch of mumbo jumbo out with a lunch hour, errand running/Sonic half priced cheeseburger trip. I had no idea the cheeseburgers would be so big!
Syd getting ready for school, looking a little tired, even her bunnies look tired.
Aaron finished his big Civics project! :)
Syd finished her "transfer" art project.
After a long day of school I sure look forward to taking a break from it... not so for Syd! She sets up her own classroom and continues on, "playing" school with her dolls! I run for the hills! :D
The awesome Omaha Steaks gift that keeps on giving - Country Fried Steak dinner - thanks mom and dad! :)
A rainy weekend = a library trip for the Frozen Junior Novel...total excitement!
A rainy weekend also = a birthday cake milkshake from Zaxby's.
