Syd and I made some smiley cookies today.
She enjoyed getting creative with the "faces".
Aaron and Syd both had fun making some unique facial expressions.
My favorite part was eating the cookies!
There was a lot of excitement around our house this week. We were going to experience our first winter storm in our surrounding area, and the kids were hoping for a lot of snow. The local schools were cancelled, Aaron's orthodontist appointment was cancelled, Clint's full work day schedule was cancelled due to the storm. ~It wasn't the snow that was the big worry for folks around these parts, it was the ice.
W-e-l-l... we did get a little bit of snow.
Not enough to jump in and make a snow angel or a snowman though.
Not enough snow to make this kid very happy. :)
There were little baby icicles hanging from the patio. :) Aren't they cute?
Instead of playing in mounds of cold, white, fluffy snow, we enjoyed eating cold, white, fluffy mounds of Cool Whip and Jell-o.
That was that, our first winter storm in the south.
Now I'm back outside walking, enjoying some of these...
Our American Heritage
Honoring the life and work of the first president of the United States, George Washington, and also giving honor to the 16th president, Abraham Lincoln.
Taking the simple (cupcakes) and making them spectacular for the occasion.
Abraham (Aaron) Lincoln
