Another Busy Summer Weekend / Selling Used Curriculum / Gardening / Organizing Abeka Books / Fence Painting
This summer is flying by for me. I don't know if it's because I'm getting older or if it's because all the summer projects have kept me extra busy. I think it's safe to say it must be a mixture of both, but another busy weekend has come and gone!
I have been crazy busy selling used homeschool curriculum on eBay this summer. Some weeks I've been shipping books out everyday but Sunday.
I'm also trying to get our fence painted. The summer heat has slowed this project down somewhat but I did manage to get a few more panels painted on Saturday. It's getting there. There are a few boards that need replaced but I'll have it finished before the summer ends.
July is a very hot, humid month in Georgia and the heat takes a toll on the flowers. Sometimes I take a toll on the flowers too by either over watering them or by not watering them enough. I purchased and planted some new flowers to replace the geraniums out front.
My little garden project is keeping me busy. Every evening I'm out de-weeding and watering the plants.
I was shopping on Sunday for my grandson's up and coming birthday on August 3rd. Party City had some cool Minecraft party supplies for the big event. It's funny how I shop at Dollar Tree for my own kids birthday party supplies but when it's a grandkid party, I go all out.
Then there was setting aside some time to tackle organizing the new school materials for the coming school year that starts August 12th. Yeah, this project is going to keep me very busy. I still have to get the room ready too!
Oh nuts I almost forgot about the meal planning and grocery shopping for the coming week! I worked all that out on Sunday.
Yes I'm a pretty busy lady this summer, but in reality I wouldn't have it any other way. Just keepin it real...real BUSY!
