This weekend Syd and I took Aaron out shopping. He was looking for a police costume for a new character he's developing. He wanted to create a character using CGI Visual Effects for the head, but his own body for the rest of him.
First we went to Goodwill to see if they had any costumes or props he could use. Believe it or not they did have a small assortment of costumes for $2.99 each.
They even had curly wigs for $1.99!
Of course I was getting carried away and off track looking through the Halloween decorations.
He wasn't finding what he was looking for at Goodwill so we went to Party City.
The costumes and props were more expensive at Party City. The prices on costumes ranged anywhere from $16.99 to $24.99 and up.
The wigs were quite a bit more pricey too.
Aaron put his mad animator thinking cap on and realized he already had a white shirt, vest, tie and gun at home. All he needed to purchase was a police badge and black gloves to complete the character's outfit.
Next thing to do was to film him moving his head and body in order to test out the CGI Visual Effects animated head.
I don't know how this stuff works, but he sure does. He took the video footage and went to his office to work on it.
Later on he came out to share the good news. IT REALLY WORKED!! He did it! Super cool CGI VFX animated character!
