Welcome to a day in the life of a homemaker / homeschooling mama. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and join me.
6:00 AM - Rise and shine, it's personal Bible study time!
7:00 AM - Time to get dressed and ready for the day!
Check on Syd to see if she's ready for the day.
Start a load of laundry.
Vacuum the living room.
Unload the dishwasher.
8:00 AM - Make breakfast. I just wanted a bowl of grape nuts and some fruit. Syd wanted yogurt.
Turn on the lights and turn up the heat in the school room.
9:00 AM - My grandson Alex arrives and we start school.
10:00 AM - Snack break - Today's special snack was made by my daughter Linn in celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday... green eggs & ham AND one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish Jello.
12:00 PM - Lunch Break - My son Aaron is a YouTube video creator. He takes his lunch break with us to help prepare it and to spend time with his nephew Alex.
3:00 PM - Dust the entrance area and the mini blinds.
4:00 PM - Dinner preparations - This evening we are having chicken teriyaki.
5:00 PM - The dinner hour, followed by cleanup. After dinner it's time to plan and prepare for the day ahead.
Thanks for joining me! See ya next time!
