Every month, in Bible class, Sydney learns a group of Bible verses and commits them to memory. At the end of this time, she is graded to see how well she is able to recite the passages. Children possess this incredible ability to commit vast amounts of information to memory, with ease. There is no reason to dumb down Bible verses into little chunks of easy to remember slogans, so that children can remember them. They are more than capable of memorizing large chunks of Scripture.
